The pros for the GL SUV are the full size SUV dimensions, a quite drive, the powerful engines, good road and off road qualities, and the stylish finishing. Even the basic GL350 model with its Blue Tec V6 Diesel engine can deliver 240 horsepower and 455 lb-ft of torque and that is already plenty of power. The fuel consume is not very high for the size of this SUV and the power of its engine. The surround view system as optional feature is an interesting choice. The four cameras can work together to help the driver to park the GL-Class SUV easier. It is the first Mercedes car to feature this high tech system.

The only con against the Mercedes GL-Class SUV is the high price that might be double than for other suitable full size SUVs.
